Start your morning with a delicious breakfast. We offer a porridge bar with various toppings, ready-made sandwiches, and homemade smoothies. A diverse breakfast buffet, priced by weight, is also available daily.

For lunch, there is a favorite dish for everyone. Our lunch offering focuses on a high proportion of domestic ingredients and homemade food. The lunch options delightfully blend both traditional and modern home-style cooking, not forgetting international flavors.

All lunch options include bread, spread, drinks, and coffee/tea. We cater to special dietary needs, and they are clearly marked on the lunch options. A vegan lunch option is also available daily.

After lunch hours, the restaurant serves easy take-away snacks, and we also sell lunch items to take home. From the 24/7 take-away display, you can also purchase small savory or sweet items, as well as drinks.

The restaurant’s offerings change with the seasons, and we draw inspiration from them. You can also send us your suggestions by email

Services to home and meetings

We want to create experiences every day. Our restaurant offers a variety of events and pop-up themes based on the holidays throughout the calendar year. We also offer various themed bags to take home, for example, during Christmas or for May Day. Our staff also crafts delicious celebration cakes and savoury items for your party, so please contact us if you need something to make your everyday life a little easier.

In addition, we tailor meeting packages with different target groups in mind. Our selection of meeting and hospitality catering includes a wide variety of options that support the well-being of staff and their guests, without forgetting indulgent treats. Catering orders paid for by the company are to be made through the catering ordering system.

ISS Palvelut toimittaa kaivosalueelle kokous- ja edustuspalvelut. Autamme tapahtumien suunnittelussa ja hoidamme kISS Services provides meeting and hospitality services for the mine site. We assist in planning your events and handle all arrangements according to your wishes.

Orders for meeting and hospitality catering must be placed no later than two days in advance by email to ravintola.kaivoksenhelmi@fi.issworld.com. For larger events (over 50 people), the order must be placed at least one week in advance. When placing an order, please include the following information:

  • Time
  • Location
  • Products ordered
  • Cost centre
  • Billing address

Eat Well, Work Well: The Benefits of a Balanced Lunch Break

Did you know that people who eat lunch at a workplace restaurant have, on average, a healthier diet? In a workplace restaurant, people tend to choose more vegetables, fruits and berries, whole-grain products, and fish more often than in other restaurants or when preparing a packed lunch at home.

A healthy lunch feels and tastes good. A proper lunch contains a versatile range of macronutrients, vitamins, and minerals. When you get a balanced intake of carbohydrates, healthy fats, and proteins from your lunch, your work efficiency and alertness in the afternoon remain at their best.

Another equally important criterion for a healthy meal is that the meal is appropriately sized for the individual. Energy needs are affected by physical activity, age, and gender. An office worker who sits for most of their workday gets sufficient energy from a lunch composed according to the plate model: half the plate is filled with vegetables, a quarter with a carbohydrate side dish, and a quarter with plant or animal protein, such as beans, fish, or chicken.

At ISS restaurants, we want to offer our customers the opportunity for a healthy lunch every day. We offer delicious lunch options prepared daily on-site from fresh, clean, and Finnish ingredients, from which you can choose your favorite. An abundant and colorful salad bar, high-fiber breads with delicious spreads, as well as soup and salad lunch options are available in all our staff restaurants. In addition to the delicious food, lunch at the workplace restaurant provides an important break during the workday and is thus a crucial pause for mental well-being.
